Terms

• This service is free of charge and being donated by some wonderful community-minded hotels in Surfers Paradise.

• The primary guest must be a resident within the 4217 postcode (e.g. Surfers Paradise, Main Beach etc.) and provide an ID (Australian drivers license or Australian 18+ card) with a residence displaying the 4217 postcode.

• The guest must have a residential shower that is not usable, as a result of damage from Cyclone Alfred.

• Reservations are subject to availability and you require an email confirmation from Shower Away before you can check-in.

• As a hotel guest, your contract is with the hotel and you are required to follow hotel rules, including providing a credit card for pre-authorisation of any incidentals.

• A maximum of two people is included. However, reservations including up to two adults plus up to two children are also available to be requested.

• The room will only be available from 2pm to 3pm on the day reserved. You must check-out before your time expires (e.g. 3 PM), or the hotel may charge the overnight room rate.

• To cancel your reservation, please send an email to hello@showeraway.com or text to 0430 525 188 any time before 2pm on the day of arrival so that we can open this up to another guest.

Privacy Policy

Shower Away collects reservation details on behalf of the hotel to streamline your check-in. We will seek your feedback after your Shower Away experience. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles and will never share or sell your details without your permission. Our reservation process follows the highest standards (ISO/IEC 27001:2022).
